Hong Kong's Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Office launches the inaugural "Hong Kong Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Month" this June, offering a wide range of activities for locals and tourists to experience the richness and joy of intangible cultural heritage. The opening ceremony, held today (May 31) at the HK Cultural Centre, features a spectacular parade and performances open to the public for free today and tomorrow.
The opening ceremony commenced with a traditional Nanyin performance, followed by lion dances, Yingge dances, and other culturally rich performances, setting the stage for the grand launch of the event.
