Citybus announced today (May 30) that its tourism brand Sightseeing bus has added a new open-top bus member, "Pride of Hong Kong", to its fleet. With the commissioning of the newest open-top bus, HK City Sightseeing has grown to become the largest city tour open-top bus fleet in China.
"Pride of Hong Kong" means illuminating Hong Kong on the road to tell the story of Hong Kong to the tourists.

The design of this themed bus vividly showcases the fascinating sights of Hong Kong during daytime and nighttime, incorporating a number of tourist landmarks such as Temple Street, THong Kong Clock Tower, The Peak and Ocean Park, etc., and decorated with traditional neon lights, providing travelers with the latest mobile hotspots to hit. During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, "Pride of Hong Kong" will operate a number of open-top bus routes, including the "H3/H4 Coastliner", which will take visitors to the picturesque Stanley and Ocean Park. Visitors can also board and disembark the themed buses on "H2K Night Scene Hong Kong" to experience the unforgettable nighttime splendor of Hong Kong.

To further enhance visitors' experience of visiting Hong Kong during the long weekend of the Dragon Boat Festival and to shorten the waiting time for buses, Citybus will implement special crowd management measures at the bus stops of the "H1 Heritage Route" in Central (Star Ferry Pier). For the first time, a " bus fare zone " will be set up at the bus stops, where customers can pay their fares in advance through the gates set up at the bus stops, and board the open-top buses after entering the fare zone. Passengers can choose their own waiting queues with different viewing angles according to their itinerary needs, and the waiting time for Citybus+Sightseeing Package users is the shortest among them. With the expansion of the fleet, the open-top bus routes will provide a maximum frequency of 7 minutes during peak hours.
