Famous from their appearance on the TV program Scoop, an elderly couple known as Mr. Ho and Mrs. Ho found themselves in a violent altercation at their home in Tuen Mun on May 30, leading to their arrest for assault. The incident, reportedly sparked by a relationship dispute after Mrs. Ho announced their divorce during a recent livestream, resulted in both individuals sustaining injuries and alarming neighbors.
At 8:29 a.m., residents of Ching Shun House in Ching Tin Estate, Tuen Mun, called the police after hearing cries for help. A neighbor, who was using the elevator, discovered a bleeding elderly man, approximately in his 70s, with a neck wound. Police arrived at the scene prepared with shields and found both Mr. Ho and Mrs. Ho injured and covered in blood. Mr. Ho suffered head and finger injuries, while Mrs. Ho had a knife wound on the back of her head. Both were conscious when sent to Tuen Mun Hospital for treatment. After an investigation, the police arrested the couple on suspicion of assault.
This is not the first time Mr. Ho has made headlines. On May 25, he was involved in an altercation with a stranger at the Siu Hong MTR Station, during which he allegedly sprayed insecticide on the woman. The woman reported injuries to her hand, and Mr. Ho was arrested on charges of "administering poison with intent to injure."
