The Swiss village of Blatten has been buried by a glacier collapse, according to a report on May 29.
According to the U.S. Capitol Hill, Braten is located in southwestern Switzerland, is "the highest village in the Lötsch Valley. According to the report, a huge ice-rock pile up at the bottom of the valley, tens of meters thick and about two kilometers long, buried most of the village of Braten and caused heavy losses.
According to the Associated Press, the landslide covered almost the entire village in mud, destroying 90 percent of the village's buildings.
