
Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, arrived in Hong Kong yesterday afternoon to attend the signing ceremony of the Elaboration of the Convention on the Establishment of the International Organization for Mediation this morning (May 30).
After arriving in Hong Kong yesterday, Wang Yi left the airport, accompanied by Cui Jianchun, Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in Hong Kong. Wang waved hello to the media waiting to cover the event. Later, Wang and his entourage went to the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in Hong Kong, where John Lee, the Chief Secretary for Administration, Eric Chan, the Financial Secretary, Paul Chan, and the Secretary for Justice, Paul Lam, arrived respectively.
