
The saltwater supply pipe leaking on Wan Po Road in Tseung Kwan O towards the Tseung Kwan O Tunnel has been repaired, and the affected traffic lanes have been fully reopened this morning (May 21).
The Water Supplies Department announced on social media that after completing the repair work and restoring the water supply, the engineering team worked overnight to finish the road surface restoration ahead of schedule. The affected traffic lanes have now fully reopened.
Yesterday, a 900mm diameter saltwater supply pipe was damaged on Wan Po Road towards the Tseung Kwan O Tunnel, leading to a complete closure of the road near Clear Water Bay Peninsula in the direction of Kowloon. Several bus routes were required to be diverted.
