
With the expansion of visa-free entry policies and the continuous development of international flight routes, foreign travel to China is experiencing significant growth. According to data from the Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport, as of May 11, the airport has handled over 531,000 inbound and outbound foreign travelers this year, marking a 54.6% year-on-year increase. Among them, visa-free entries have exceeded 152,000, a staggering 160.3% increase compared to the same period last year.
The top nationalities of these travelers include Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, and Singapore. Many visitors come to Shenzhen for business collaborations, urban sightseeing, indulging in local delicacies, or shopping in China's vibrant markets.
This year, Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport has launched and increased the frequency of international routes to destinations such as Vientiane, Osaka, Singapore, Tokyo, Bangkok, and Hanoi. Additionally, a direct flight to Dubai is set to launch this July, further boosting the city's international connectivity.
