The film Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In recently swept 9 awards at the 2025 Hong Kong Film Awards. To celebrate the film's first anniversary, the production team announced a re-release on May 1.
Regarding the film's achievements, actor Louis Koo expressed, "I'm more than happy; we've won lots of awards! This at least proves that the film can reach overseas markets, going to Japan and Cannes. Our efforts have not been in vain."
Director Soi Cheang shared that he felt nervous throughout the awards ceremony, competing for various accolades, but he expressed greater confidence in a potential sequel.
After the awards ceremony, the film's cast and crew held a lively celebration party titled "LIGHTS CAMERA CHEERS" in Central.
