With the May Day holiday approaching, Shenzhen Railway will add over 1,100 passenger trains from April 29 to May 6, primarily covering popular travel and family visit destinations within the province, including Guangzhou, Shanwei, and Chaoshan, as well as destinations outside the province like Hunan and Guangxi. Additionally, Shenzhen North Railway Station is expected to operate over 200 night high-speed trains on April 30, May 1, 2, 4, and 5, covering cities such as Guangzhou, Shanwei, Chaoshan, Changsha, and Guilin.

Shenzhen Railway stated that the railway transport period for this year's May Day holiday will be from April 29 to May 6, lasting a total of 8 days. During the holiday, it is anticipated that around 3 million passengers will be transported, with the peak travel day expected on May 1, when 528,000 passengers will travel via Shenzhen Railway, including 334,000 from Shenzhen North Station. During the holiday transport period, it is projected that over 750,000 cross-border passengers will be carried, representing an 11.2% increase year-on-year.

To provide convenient and efficient travel services for Hong Kong and Macao travelers during this period, Shenzhen North Railway Station and Futian Station will deploy additional volunteers in key areas such as entrances, elevators, and platforms, continuing to offer trilingual services in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin for guidance, inquiries, and ticket purchasing.
