Over the past four days, Kai Tak Sports Park has drawn a crowd of 180,000 attendees, both local and international, for a vibrant celebration of rock and K-pop music. The event showcased the Park's ability to host large-scale performances with remarkable efficiency and organization.
The success follows Cantopop star Nicholas Tse's four-day solo concert series, which concluded on April 27, and a K-pop concert held on April 26 at the Kai Tak Arena. The Park highlighted that this achievement demonstrates its capability to serve as a premier venue for world-class events, meeting the expectations of artists and fans alike.
By leveraging the unique features of its two venues, carefully coordinating event schedules, deploying flexible facilities, and implementing effective crowd management strategies, the Park successfully hosted both major music events without disruptions. Attendees were able to enjoy a seamless experience, with the Park ensuring that public transportation was accessible within 45 minutes of each event's conclusion.
Looking ahead, the Park announced that next month will feature more major events, including concerts by Taiwan's rock band Mayday and renowned singer JJ Lin.
