The incident reportedly occurred on April 17. According to Fuji News Network, the video was captured by a bystander who heard someone shouting in Japanese, "Kneel down and bow," before witnessing the guard comply. The bystander, who filmed the scene, stated they were unaware of what caused the confrontation. The visitor eventually left the scene with family members, one of whom appeared apologetic. "I couldn't hear clearly, but it seemed like the family member apologized," the bystander noted.
The video has sparked outrage online, with many Japanese citizens criticizing the visitor's actions as highly inappropriate, particularly at an international event like the Expo.
