The relative humidity dropped to 30% or below in many areas this morning, and as of 9:40 a.m., the relative humidity at the Hong Kong Observatory dropped to 21%, which is the lowest recorded for April since 1984 when the Observatory headquarters set up automatic weather stations, the Observatory said.
The Observatory said the northeast monsoon is bringing very dry weather to the Guangdong coast. Visibility in some parts of Guangdong is relatively low due to the dusty weather. In the next two to three days, Hong Kong will experience generally sunny and very dry weather, with a considerable temperature difference between day and night. The weather later in the week will be more humid.
