
According to a report by CCTV News, the third batch of emergency humanitarian earthquake relief supplies from the Chinese government arrived in Yangon, Myanmar, on the afternoon of April 5. This shipment includes 1,048 water purification devices, 10,000 mosquito nets, 15,000 first-aid kits, and 400 tents.
The first two batches of emergency humanitarian aid were delivered to Myanmar on March 31 and April 3, respectively, and have already been distributed to those affected by the disaster.
Myanmar earthquake death toll rises to 3,354
A 7.9-magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar at 2:20 p.m. on March 28, with tremors strongly felt across several regions in China's Yunnan province. This earthquake is the largest recorded globally so far this year and the strongest earthquake on land in nearly a decade.
As of 8 p.m. local time on April 4, the earthquake has claimed 3,354 lives, with 220 people still reported missing.
