In Minnesota, US, Amanda Cameron, a cat enthusiast, owns four Maine Coons. While she was already familiar with the large size of the breed, one of her cats, Mr. Pugsley, still managed to surprise her with his extraordinary tail length.
Pugsley's tail is so long that it would occasionally hit Amanda in the face. A visit to the veterinarian also confirmed that the cat's tail was exceptionally long.
Mr. Pugsley's tail measured an astonishing 46.99 cm, officially breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest tail.
What's even more remarkable is that Mr. Pugsley is only two years old, meaning he still has room to grow—and potentially break his own record in the future.
