🎟️ Fans Queue for Entry Vouchers

This morning, a large crowd of fans lined up at Ocean Terminal to collect same-day entry vouchers, eager to be among the first to meet Chiikawa in Hong Kong. Once the store officially opened, visitors entered in an orderly fashion, snapping photos at every corner. Some fans were so excited to see the Chiikawa backdrop wall that they jumped for joy.

On sale are various Chiikawa-themed items, including limited-edition plushies, accessories, printed T-shirts, and bags. Fans swarmed the booths to pick their favorites, with long queues at checkout. Popular picks include plush keychains and practical items like tote bags and T-shirts.

🛍️ Fans Share Their Excitement

Ms. Lin, who visited with friends through an online reservation, said she's been a long-time Chiikawa fan and was thrilled about the pop-up. (DotDotNews)

Ms. Lin, who visited with friends through an online reservation, said she's been a long-time Chiikawa fan and was thrilled about the pop-up. She purchased a printed T-shirt and a tote bag but felt the store was "a bit small," hoping for a larger setup and more new products.

Another fan, Ms. Cheung, arrived early to queue for vouchers after missing out on online bookings. She proudly showed off her haul—Chiikawa dolls, socks, keychains—and even wore a Chiikawa backpack from a previous collection, expressing her deep love for the character.

🧸 Limited-Edition Collector Items Launching April 9

Starting April 9, the store will release 21 classic plush keychain reissue items over three phases. These include popular expressions and limited variants that fans can collect. To ensure fairness, each customer may only purchase one of each item. Reservations are available via the KKday platform.

👕 Latest Japanese Apparel Arrives in Hong Kong

The pop-up also features the latest fashion items released in Japan on March 28. These include:

  • Cotton T-shirts,
  • Printed tote bags,
  • Headscarves featuring Chiikawa characters and food themes.

🌸 "Chiikawa Wishing Garden" Interactive Zone

A highlight of the event is the "Chiikawa Wishing Garden", themed around springtime. The display includes three wishing trees, with Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi waiting under them.

Visitors who spend HK$300 or more can receive a Chiikawa Wish Card to write personal messages or product suggestions for the creators. These cards can be hung on the trees for a memorable interactive experience—and possibly have your wish come true!

Opinion | 'Building Bridges'- How North Korea went from isolated pariah to strategic counterweight Since 2014, a "new" bridge has stood on the Yalu River between Dandong in China and Sinuiju in North Korea. This massive white spired bridge, built by Chinese engineering, was intended to deepen economic integration between the two Communist neighbours, having previously relied on the very small, Japanese Imperial-derived railway bridge known as the "Sino-Korean Friendship Bridge." The new bridge was thus to be revolutionary, yet for reasons entirely related to the North Korean side, it didn't open.

Opinion | Behind the double 'World's No. 1': How world-class hospitality is forging a new chapter for HK tourism Bar Leone in Central, Hong Kong, was crowned the world's best bar for the second consecutive year. Barely three weeks earlier, Rosewood Hong Kong likewise retained its No. 1 ranking, becoming the only hotel to successfully defend the title since the list was founded. Bars and hotels are two mirrors of the hospitality industry. That both "world's best" titles have fallen to Hong Kong in the same year is no coincidence—it is an objective affirmation by international professional juries of the city's service standards and business environment.
