An extended version of The Last Dance will be released on April 4 for the Qingming Festival. The 139-minute film will feature 12 minutes of never-before-seen footage. Emperor Motion Pictures has announced that all tickets for the extended version will be priced at HK$80, with a portion of the proceeds from the extended version going to the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, a charitable organization.

Director Anselm Chan Mou-yin said, "The Last Dance is about human relationships, which is in line with Tung Wah Group of Hospitals' charitable work to bring people of different backgrounds closer together."
Chief actress Michelle Wai Sze-nga said, "I remember when we were thanking the audience for the tickets, they kept clamoring for the release of the extended version, but before we knew it, the director had already prepared a version with more story branches and character relationships, and I felt so meaningful when I learned that a portion of the box office proceeds would be donated to charities, so I have more reasons to come to the theatre again to watch it!"
Actress Catherine Chau Ka-yee said, "During the filming, I visited Tung Wah Coffin Home and the International Funeral Parlour, and I felt that the venues provided a lot of kind help. The release of the extended version of the movie can make this relationship even deeper. At the same time, continue the relationship between the movie and the audience, which I think is a great gift."
