The Hong Kong Flower Show 2025 officially closed last night (March 23). Starting today (March 24) at 9 am, the organizers will distribute approximately 3,500 pots of flowers to the public, with a limit of one pot per person on a first-come, first-served basis until supplies last. Many citizens praised the vibrant colors and sturdy stems of the flowers and noted that the instructions were clear and the arrangements smooth.

Mrs. Lau, who was at the front of the line, shared that this was her third year participating, having started queuing at 6 am: "I can take a walk in Victoria Park, and since I live near St. Paul's Hospital, it's quite convenient." In addition to residents from Hong Kong Island, some New Territories residents also came to support the event. Mr. Wong from Tuen Mun mentioned that he has 30 pots of flowers at home and plans to care for the new flowers as if they were his children. Similarly, Mr. Leung, also from the New Territories, said, "I come every year," noting that this year's flowers are indeed better than in previous years.

On the other hand, some citizens praised the excellent arrangements by the organizers. Mrs. Mak stated that the instructions were clear and the arrangements appropriate, allowing for enough space between people to avoid overcrowding. She was able to collect her potted plant after about 30 minutes of waiting. She described the event as meaningful, allowing citizens to enjoy and commemorate the flowers while reducing waste. Ms. Lee remarked that the theme flower, the cosmos, was vibrant and well-structured, expressing her commitment to supporting environmental protection and reducing waste. She also highlighted the thoughtful provision of umbrellas for shade, which showed the organizers' consideration for citizens exposed to the sun.

The Hong Kong Flower Show is organized by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. The organizers announced last night that they would distribute healthy, replantable flowers, with a limit of one pot per person, on a first-come, first-served basis until supplies last. Interested citizens are advised to bring their eco-friendly bags to collect their flowers at the South Pavilion Plaza of Victoria Park (near the entrance of Sugar Street).
