According to US media reports, US President Donald Trump posted on social media on March 20, warning that those who vandalize Tesla vehicles could face severe legal consequences.

Trump wrote, "People that get caught sabotaging Teslas will stand a very good chance of going to jail for up to twenty years, and that includes the funders. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!!!!"

This statement comes after a series of attacks targeting Tesla cars in the US. On March 18 alone, at least five Tesla vehicles at a service center in Las Vegas were reportedly set on fire and shot at.

Tesla's CEO Elon Musk has taken to social media to condemn the violent incidents, calling them acts of "violent terrorism." He has urged authorities to take action against the perpetrators.

US Attorney General Pam Bondi also issued a statement, describing the attacks as "domestic terrorism." She pledged that the Department of Justice would prosecute those responsible to the fullest extent of the law.

Additionally, US counterterrorism agencies have launched investigations into the incidents.
