
On March 19, South Korean media reported that the National Tax Service initiated a tax investigation into artist Lee Joon-gi and his management company in the fall of last year, during which Lee applied for pre-tax due diligence, and the tax agency demanded to recover about 900 million won (about HK$4,820,000) in taxes after concluding the investigation.
However, Lee disagreed with the decision and requested a trial at the tax court.
According to public information, Lee Joon-gi was born on April 17, 1982, in Busan, South Korea, and graduated from the Seoul Arts College, Department of Cinema. 2001, Lee debuted through the shooting of magazine cover photos; in 2005, with the starring role in a love comedy "My Girl" and gained attention. He is also known for King and the Clown, Scholar Who Walks The Night, and Flower of Evil, among others.
