In response to the recent emergence of fake Cainiao Hong Kong logistics fraudulent websites, Cainiao Hong Kong express delivery today (March 11) stated to the media to combat fraud and strengthened fraud prevention publicity in conjunction with the Hong Kong Police Force ADCC.
In response to the recent spate of fake logistics phishing scams, Cainiao Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Police Anti-Deception Coordination Center (ADCC) have launched a joint initiative to set up fraud prevention warning zones at more than 1,000 Cainiao pick-up points or self-service counters in Hong Kong with immediate effect, and post anti-fraud notices to enhance anti-fraud publicity and raise public awareness of fraud prevention.
Cainiao Hong Kong has set up a special working group. In addition to posting anti-fraud notices at pick-up points, Cainiao Hong Kong has also pushed pop-up windows and other warnings on the "Cainiao APP" since January, and released guidelines for identifying false messages on social media platforms to remind customers to be vigilant against fraudulent messages.
Cainiao Hong Kong emphasizes that the platform will never ask customers to update their information through unofficial accounts, and that members of the public can immediately report any suspicious messages through the customer service hotline.
