Concerns over Biden's 'autopen signature' raise questions about his cognitive ability

According to Fox News, a report released by the Oversight Project, a division of the Heritage Foundation, reveals that most documents signed by former President Joe Biden utilized the same "autopen signature." This has sparked significant public concern in the US about Biden's cognitive abilities and whether he is fully aware of the documents he is signing.

The investigation states, "Whoever controls the signature machine controls the president," leading to speculation about the existence of a "shadow president" during Biden's term.

Fox News randomly examined over 20 executive orders signed by Biden between 2021 and 2024, finding that each bore identical signatures. In contrast, when Biden announced his withdrawal from the presidential race last July, his signature was notably different from the autopen version.

The report mentions that Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey recently wrote to the Justice Department, requesting an investigation into Biden's "decline in cognitive ability" and whether non-elected officials have been advancing policies without his knowledge. The letter stated that there are profound reasons to suspect that Biden's aides and political allies are exploiting his mental decline to issue so-called presidential orders without his awareness.

Additionally, in January, House Speaker Mike Johnson recalled a meeting with Biden where the president appeared to forget he had signed an executive order suspending LNG exports. Johnson noted, based on his personal observations, that Biden has not been in control for some time. He recounted Biden's shocked response upon learning of the order, saying, "I didn't do that." Despite the presence of "gatekeepers" around the president, Biden and others in the government have indicated that the "walls" surrounding him are higher and control is greater.

The British media outlet Daily Mail also randomly checked 25 different documents from Biden's term and found identical signatures.

However, Fox News also examined multiple documents signed by current President Trump and found that his signatures were also identical, with many of these orders signed in public or front of the media.
