
On March 10, Thai Airways announced on its official Weibo account: In light of recent incidents involving the use of power banks on international flights that resulted in cabin fires, Thai Airways International has decided to implement new safety measures.
Starting from March 15, 2025, all Thai Airways flights will prohibit the use of power banks, spare batteries, and charging of power banks or spare batteries on flights.
