The Hong Kong Observatory indicates that a cold front located in inland Guangdong is moving southward. Today (March 5), the weather will turn cooler, with the lowest temperature of 18 degrees Celsius in urban areas, a drop of 9 degrees from yesterday's highest of 27 degrees.
Later this week, affected by the northeast monsoon and its associated extensive cloud band, it is forecasted that the lowest temperature in Hong Kong will further drop to 13 degrees on Friday, while it may drop to 10 degrees in the northern region at Ta Kwu Ling.
