According to reports from Taiwan's media today (March 4), Taiwan's artist Darren Wang (Wang Dalu), who was recently exposed for allegedly faking a heart condition to evade military service, has now been transferred by the police to prosecutors for investigation on charges of "attempted murder."
The report stated that Wang returned to Taiwan recently and was picked him up at the airport by a car through a platform. However, he was dissatisfied with the car sent by the platform for not meeting his standards. Consequently, he hired someone to violently assault the driver and the person in charge of the arrangement, inflicting severe injuries on both individuals. As a result, he was transferred by the police on suspicion of "attempted murder."
Multiple Taiwan's media outlets reported this afternoon that they attempted to contact Wang's agent, but no one answered the phone, and the messages sent remained unread and unanswered.
In February this year, Wang was exposed for allegedly evading military service, accused of spending NT$1 million to hire a specialized group to forge false medical certificates, which led to his arrest by law enforcement. He was subsequently scheduled to enlist for military service on March 13.
