The third session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) opened at 3 p.m. today (March 4) at the Great Hall of the People. Liu Guoliang, a member of the CPPCC National Committee and President of the Chinese Table Tennis Association, addressed the controversy surrounding fan culture during an interview, emphasizing that this phenomenon requires proper guidance as part of the development of sports.
When discussing the 15th National Games, Liu expressed optimism, highlighting that it is an excellent opportunity to drive the development of the sports industry in the Greater Bay Area (GBA). He noted that table tennis is popular among the public, and all top players will participate in the game, making the National Games a significant and eagerly anticipated event. Liu believes the GBA has the capacity to deliver one of the best National Games ever.
