The third session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) is set to hold a press conference at noon on March 4 at the Great Hall of the People. The conference will feature a spokesperson addressing questions from both Chinese and foreign journalists regarding the event's agenda and key topics.
Although the press conference officially began at noon, many journalists arrived early in the morning to secure the best spots. Reporters from both domestic and international media outlets were seen lining up outside the venue, eager to gain firsthand insights.
A foreign journalist was spotted running toward the queue, jokingly exclaiming in Chinese, "Everyone is too early—this is too intense!" The competitive atmosphere among media professionals was evident.
A Canadian journalist managed to secure the first spot in line, explaining that he arrived early because he had missed a prime position at the previous CPPCC press conference. Meanwhile, a Reuters reporter shared that he arrived around 8 AM, remarking, "It's too intense!"
With global attention on China's Two Sessions, journalists worldwide are making every effort to cover this significant political event, reflecting the high level of international interest in China's policies and developments.
