The opening ceremony for Kai Tak Sports Park will take place tonight (March 1) at 6:30 PM. To accommodate the anticipated increase in passenger volume, MTR has announced that the Tuen Ma Line will operate at enhanced frequencies, running trains approximately every 2 to 3 minutes during the morning rush hour. Additionally, "not in service trains" will be on standby to flexibly adjust services.
During the evening departure period, special arrangements will be implemented at Kai Tak Station and Sung Wong Toi Station, with one-way entry and exit to help manage crowd flow.
MTR advises passengers to allow ample travel time and to be prepared for potential crowd management measures, such as staggered entry into the stations. Passengers are encouraged to remain patient and follow the instructions of on-site staff to ensure a safe and smooth travel experience.
