
On Feb. 26, Xiaomi's stock rose nearly 6%, peaking at HK$56.8 and surpassing a market value of HK$1.4 trillion. This marks a 570% increase since its low of HK$8.31 in October 2022. The "Kingsoft family" stocks, including Kingsoft Cloud and Kingsoft, have also seen significant gains.
As a result, Lei Jun's wealth is now estimated at nearly RMB 440 billion, surpassing Nongfu Spring's Zhong Shanshan (RMB 370 billion) and ByteDance's Zhang Yiming (RMB 330 billion).
Lei Jun's wealth stems from several sources: his 24.2% stake in Xiaomi (valued at RMB 341.2 billion), contributions from Kingsoft companies (around RMB 44.1 billion), and investments through Shunwei Capital (about RMB 50 billion).
Xiaomi's automotive venture has also driven growth, with the SU7 delivering 135,000 units in eight months. The 2025 target is 300,000 units, which will further boost Xiaomi's valuation.
Following the launch of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone and the SU7 Ultra car, the brand's value is expected to rise. As of the latest update, Xiaomi's stock has retreated to HK$52.250, down 7.19%, with a total market value of HK$1.31 trillion.
