The Hong Kong Transport Department has recently granted licenses to five new taxi fleets, with some expected to begin operations as early as next month. According to sources, the government plans to host an official launch ceremony on March 3, where the five fleets will showcase their vehicle models to the public and introduce their fleet sizes and unique features. Reports also indicate that Tai Wo Motors and SynCab are set to begin operations by the end of March.
This move aims to enhance HK's taxi services by introducing new vehicle models, improved service quality, and better fleet management to meet the increasing transportation demands in the city.
