Hong Kong Disneyland has announced its financial results for the fiscal year 2024, achieving a profit of HK$838 million, marking its first profitability in a decade. Revenue grew by 54% year-on-year to HK$8.8 billion, setting a new record since the park's opening in 2005.

The total attendance reached a historic high of 7.7 million, with per capita spending increasing by 28%. The park attributed this success to a strong rebound in visitors from mainland China and other markets, as well as the ongoing strength of local attendance. During the year, hotel occupancy rates increased to 88%, with overall occupancy rising by 26 percentage points to 73%.

Hong Kong Disneyland has begun repaying loans from the Hong Kong government and The Walt Disney Company, having repaid over 60% of the loans as of the first quarter of FY2025.

The managing director of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) Michael Moriarty stated that following the opening of the World of Frozen in 2023, along with the ongoing expansion projects including a Marvel-themed experience, the park has solid plans for future growth.
