
Education Bureau has created and uploaded lesson plans addressing "space oil" drugs and a music video titled "Building Our Dreams - Let's Knock Drugs Out."
A circular has also been issued to schools, providing resources from various government departments for reference and use. The Narcotics Division (ND) has supplied promotional materials specifically focused on drugs to schools. Following the Anti-"Space Oil Drug" Week, the government will continue to incorporate related knowledge into school prevention education and awareness campaigns.
The Education Bureau emphasized the importance of encouraging schools to utilize activities during Anti-"Space Oil Drug" Week to teach students about the dangers of these substances, fostering a collective effort to protect the next generation from drug harm. Educators, social workers, and parents are urged to collaborate and refer students showing signs of drug use for appropriate counseling and treatment.
Member of the Action Committee Against Narcotics Rizwan ULLAH stressed the need for schools to remind students of the dangers posed by "space oil" drugs and to educate them on how to resist drug temptations. He noted that the drug problem can arise in any school, so the education sector must take proactive measures.
