On Feb. 23, Jacky Cheung successfully completed the 218th concert of his "Jacky Cheung 60+ Concert Tour" in Haikou, which is also the 1,000th solo concert tour in the past 40 years of his singing career, making him the first Chinese singer ever to break the 1,000 concert tour mark.
Jacky Cheung's 10 solo tours are a musical legend that spans time and space. From his first solo tour "Jacky Cheung in Concert" started from Hung Hom, Hong Kong in 1987, to the 10th tour in 2025, the number of concerts reached 1,000, and the whole journey spanned 38 years, with his footsteps spreading across Asia, Europe, Oceania, and the Americas, and visiting more than a hundred cities in more than 18 countries and regions, attracting tens of millions of audiences.
Although Jacky Cheung has repeatedly stated that he does not aim to break records, his tours have continued to set records and write history. 1995's "友學友95世界巡迴演唱會" held a total of 100 performances, which set a new record for a single concert held by a Chinese singer at the time; 2010's "Jacky Cheung 1/2 Century Tour" exceeded 2 million attendees in one year, creating the record of "the largest number of spectators in a 12-month tour" officially certified by the Guinness World Records; in 2016, "A Classic Tour" was launched, which lasted for 233 performances over a period of two years and three months, and became the highest number of performances of a single round of concert tours by Chinese singers.
