The NTSB report shows that 62 aviation accidents occurred in January, with another 25 incidents reported in February up until Feb. 19. Among these, 13 have been fatal. A series of aviation accidents and aircraft malfunctions over the past two months has heightened concerns and unease among travelers nationwide.
The latest incident occurred on Feb. 19 in Arizona, where two small aircraft collided mid-air at an airport, tragically killing two people. The NTSB stated that an investigation into the cause of the collision is underway.
