SF Intra-city (09699), the largest third-party delivery platform in mainland China, announced today (Feb. 12) that it has integrated the DeepSeek large model, becoming one of the first companies in the logistics industry to do so.

SF Intra-city aims to leverage DeepSeek's advantages in low cost, high performance, and high openness to upgrade user experience and improve efficiency across various processes, including user preference analysis, merchant operation strategies, intelligent customer service, delivery processes, and capacity scheduling management.

By adopting DeepSeek, SF Intra-city will not only reduce operational costs but also build a more efficient collaborative ecosystem, connecting 22 million active users, 550,000 active merchants, and 1 million active couriers, thereby enhancing ecological value. According to a Morgan Stanley report, the training cost of DeepSeek R1 is only one-thirtieth that of ChatGPT.

Additionally, SF Intra-city is accelerating its efforts in the field of unmanned delivery technologies. It plans to advance pilot programs and production of unmanned vehicles in multiple cities across mainland China in 2024, focusing on "last-mile" delivery. The company aims to explore operational models that integrate unmanned vehicles with two-wheeled and four-wheeled transport, alongside couriers, to create a comprehensive delivery ecosystem that enhances fulfillment efficiency.
