Siwawa (meaning "baby in swaddling clothes"), created in the 1980s, is made from a thin palm-rice cake wrapped with various vegetables in the shape of a newborn infant, hence the name. It is a special local delicacy in Guiyang, Guizhou Province.

This beloved delicacy features thin rice pancakes filled with shredded vegetables and topped with a tangy, spicy dipping sauce, delivering a refreshing and flavorful taste.

Siwawa is more than just a local treat—it's a cultural symbol of Guizhou, embodying the region's rich culinary heritage and traditions. It holds a special place in the hearts of Guizhou residents and serves as a nostalgic comfort food for those living or working far from home.
