The Nanjing Yu Hua tea, also known as Nanjing Rain Flower, is said to have started production in 1958. This tea was named in honor of one of the most important attractions of Nanjing, the Park of Rain Flowers. The tea is pure gold in color because only the tender tea buds, collected in early spring, are used to produce this tea.
