Hong Kong & Kowloon Walk for Millions 2024/2025 was held this morning (Jan. 19), with Chief Executive John Lee officiating at the opening ceremony. The annual charity event attracted over 8,000 participants, forming more than 100 walking teams and individual participants.
This year's walk covered a 10-kilometer route, taking approximately three hours to complete. Participants started at the Hong Kong Stadium, passing through Wong Nai Chung Gap Road, Black's Link, and Aberdeen Reservoir Road, before finishing at the Aberdeen Country Park Visitor Centre.
Funds raised through the Walk program this year will be donated in full to support 24 member agencies providing "Family and Child Welfare Services."
