CCTV News reporter verified with the Chinese Embassy in Thailand that on Jan. 14, local time, two tourists collided while driving a motorboat on Phuket's Patong beach, resulting in the death of a Chinese tourist and minor injuries to another Chinese tourist.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
