Man falls to his death in Cambodia, suspected of being overwhelmed by high pressure of telecom fraud
According to Thai media, a 31-year-old Thai man fell to his death on the Cambodian border, suspected to have chosen to end his life because he could no longer tolerate the high-pressure work of fraud syndicates.
According to Thai media reports, the incident occurred last Wednesday (Jan. 8) in an 18-story building in Poipet, a town on the Cambodian border, where a man suddenly jumped from a window on the 14th floor of the building at around 11:00 p.m., hitting the roof of a private car parked on the ground, and died on the spot.
It is understood that the 31-year-old victim was a Thai national, and the building in question was a casino and the headquarters of a fraud syndicate. Thai rescue teams in the area have contacted his family.
It was also reported that there were at least two other bodies in the vicinity of the car, in addition to the deceased.
