Eason Chan's Bangkok concert canceled amid human trafficking concerns
Eason Chan's highly anticipated concert, originally scheduled for Feb. 22, 2025, at Bangkok's IMPACT Arena, has been officially canceled. The announcement was made by the event organizer via a statement on Weibo on Jan. 10, citing safety concerns related to recent reports of human trafficking in Thailand.
The statement emphasized that the safety of fans remains the top priority for both Eason Chan and the organizers. After thorough discussions with the artist, his management team, and the local event partners in Bangkok, the decision was made to cancel the Bangkok leg of Chan's FEAR and DREAMS World Tour.
The organizers have assured fans that full refunds will be provided for tickets purchased through official platforms, including Thailand's Thaiticketmajor and China's Damai and Maoyan. Refunds are expected to be processed within 10 business days following the announcement.
