This weekend (Jan. 11-12), the Kai Tak Sports Park will host the Annual Prize Presentation Ceremony of the School Physical Fitness Award Scheme and the Graduation Ceremony of the Strive and Rise Programme testing event at the Kai Tak Arena.

The Transport Department stated that due to ongoing construction in areas outside the testing grounds of the Kai Tak Sports Park and some pedestrian walkways, participants in the events should preferably use the D exits of the MTR Sung Wong Toi Station or Kai Tak Station to access the Kai Tak Arena.

On the event days, there will be no parking or drop-off areas available at the Kai Tak Sports Park. The special bus and taxi drop-off area on Sung Wong Toi Road will also be closed. Citizens are advised to use the taxi and private car drop-off area outside Sung Wong Toi Station on Olympic Avenue.

The Department reminds drivers to avoid the affected areas during this period. The police will implement temporary traffic measures based on actual traffic and crowd conditions. Citizens are urged to be patient and follow the instructions of the authorities.
