OMG | Art of persimmon dyeing
Persimmon dyeing, a traditional plant-based dyeing technique, uses juice extracted from unripe green persimmons, which is then fermented for over a year to create the dye. Fabrics dyed with persimmon juice often require up to two years of sun-drying to achieve stable, rich colors. For this reason, persimmon dyeing is also known as "sun-dyeing," a process deeply connected to nature's patience and sunlight.
