Southern California is battling devastating wildfires that have claimed the lives of at least five people and forced approximately 100,000 residents to evacuate. According to local fire officials, the wildfires have destroyed over 1,100 homes and left more than 1.5 million properties without power. The fires continue to spread uncontrollably, with some of Hollywood's most famous faces among those affected.
Among the celebrities whose homes were destroyed are Chris Pratt, best known for his role as "Star-Lord" in Guardians of the Galaxy, Reese Witherspoon of Legally Blonde fame, and Fantastic Four actor Miles Teller.
Reports indicate that homes belonging to stars such as Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Jay-Z are within the evacuation zones. Singer Cher was reportedly among the evacuees as well. Legendary 99-year-old Hollywood actor Dick Van Dyke, known for Mary Poppins, shared on Facebook that he and his wife fled their home with their pets. However, one of their cats remains missing.
