Wang Xing confirmed as victim of human trafficking, Thailand police plan to return him to China
According to reports from CCTV, the Royal Thai Police confirmed on Jan. 8 that Chinese actor Wang Xing is a victim of human trafficking. They plan to return him to China within 1 to 2 days.
Police indicated that Wang was lured abroad for a casting call and traveled from Thailand to a neighboring country, only to realize he had been deceived upon arrival. Relevant authorities will ensure Wang's safety and care, and once he and his family are ready, they will coordinate with the Chinese embassy in Thailand for his return, expected to take no longer than 1 to 2 days.
