Statistics show that there have been at least 12 fatal accidents involving the Boeing 737-800 in the past two decades. This incident not only triggered a wave of ticket cancellations for Jeju Air, but many travelers are also specifically requesting not to fly on Boeing 737-800 aircraft when booking tour groups.
