S7 Airlines passenger aircraft goes off runway during landing
Around 8 am local time today (Jan. 2), an S7 Airlines passenger plane, also referred to as Siberia Airlines, encountered a serious incident while landing at Norilsk Airport in Russia's Krasnoyarsk region. The aircraft Airbus A321, which had 79 passengers on board, went off the runway after landing.
Reports from the West Siberian Transportation Prosecutor's Office indicate that the plane strayed from the runway while maneuvering near the taxiway. As a safety precaution, the flight has been temporarily suspended. There have been no reports of injuries among the passengers.
