Luckin Coffee expands to HK with five stores opening tomorrow
Luckin Coffee has officially entered the Hong Kong market, marking a significant step in its global expansion. Starting tomorrow (Dec. 28), five stores across the city will begin trial operations. These stores are strategically located in Tsim Sha Tsui's Mira Place, Tseung Kwan O's Metro City Plaza, Mong Kok's New Town Mall, Shatin Centre, and Des Voeux Road Central in Sheung Wan.
The coffee chain, known for its rapid growth and innovative business model, will adopt a grab-and-go store format in HK. This model integrates mobile app ordering and payment systems, aligning with the fast-paced lifestyle of HK residents.
Luckin Coffee continues to achieve remarkable growth. According to its Q3 2024 financial results, the company operates over 20,000 stores in the mainland, including 7,407 self-operated stores and 13,936 partnership outlets. Total net revenue for the quarter exceeded RMB 10.181 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 31.8%.
