Today (Dec. 25), Chief Executive John Lee shared a post on social media, expressing his joy in celebrating the holiday with families from Community Living Room, and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!
Lee emphasized that targeted poverty alleviation is a key strategy of his administration, with initiatives such as establishing Community Living Rooms to assist residents in subdivided flats. He and his wife recently invited families from the Nam Cheong community to join them for a Christmas party at Government House to share in the holiday spirit.
During the event, children personally crafted and presented delightful Christmas decorations to Lee and his wife, which Lee described as "very heartwarming." He expressed happiness in hearing from parents and children at the Community Living Room about how it provides extra space, enhancing their quality of life. Lee thanked the families for adding blessings and visions to the Christmas tree, encouraging him in his work. He pledged to continue striving to improve people's livelihoods and enhance happiness through his policies.
