Fan discontent over Real Madrid Legends vs Barcelona Heroes match: 16 complaints filed over HK$118,000
The "LEGENDS ASSEMBLE: Real Madrid Legends vs Barcelona Heroes" match, held on Dec. 20 at Hong Kong Stadium, has sparked controversy among fans. Some attendees who purchased the premium HK$6,880 ticket package complained that they were unable to meet all the players for photos and autographs, accusing the event organizers of failing to deliver on their promises.
The HK Consumer Council has received 16 complaints related to the event, involving a total amount of approximately HK$118,000.
Gilly Wong, Chief Executive of the Consumer Council, stated today (Dec. 23) that the incident represents a typical consumer dispute. The Council has already reached out to representatives from fan associations and the event organizers. Wong emphasized that since each complaint involves different individual experiences, the Council urges the organizers to act promptly and address grievances with a flexible and human-centered approach.
