Chinese President Xi Jinping visited the Macau University of Science and Technology this morning (Dec. 19).
As general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, Xi received updates on the progress of two state-level key laboratories at the university: one focused on the quality of traditional Chinese medicine and the other on lunar and planetary science, and exchanged ideas with teachers and students.
Xi left the university at around 11:00 a.m.
